Welcome to the homepage of guitar player and tutor Mickey Murphy.

Based in the picturesque countryside of Jerrettspass, near Newry, Co. Down, Mickey works as a professional musician and music tutor.

Mickey has been playing professionally for 20 years now and is well known on the local music scene for many reasons. Check out current bands he’s working with here or where he’s gigging in the next few weeks on the Gig Guide.

As a guitar teacher Mickey is in very high demand both privately and in local schools and has recently been appointed as an examiner for the London College Of Music grade exams. For more information go to the teaching page.
